Registration has opened for The Insurance Conference 2012 which will be held at Sun City, from 10 - 13 June 2012 and an early bird discount is available for early bookings until 9 March 2012, so get registered now.

The Annual Insurance Conference provides a forum for all sectors of the insurance industry to convene for two days of professional development, embrace new innovative business and economic insights and to keep informed about key industry initiatives.

The Financial Intermediaries Association (FIA), The Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) and the South African Insurance Association (SAIA) invite you to join hundreds of industry professionals by registering for the 2012 Insurance Conference. For golfers of every skill level and age, the immaculate Gary Player golf course awaits. A trade exhibition will allow you to engage with key players in the industry and providers of strategic services.

At the conference there's a real treat in store. You'll get to meet and listen to Michael Jackson, a globally sought after speaker who specialises in uncovering and demonstrating the dynamics of change in the context of our changing societal and business global landscape. His keynote presentation, The Challenge of Change, continues to receive acclaim from business leaders all across the planet (he's presented at over 350 conferences alone in the last two years) and Jackson himself has been called 'a national treasure' by none other than Nelson Mandela.

He has worked closely in the past with the likes of Richard Branson and Bill Gates along with hundreds of other top business leaders and corporations - and we're delighted that he will fulfil both the roles of Conference Moderator and Speaker at our Sun City event. He'll leave you much better placed to understand and demystify the key trends and issues of our industry; and enable you to plot a more successful personal role through some very muddy economic waters in 2012 and beyond.

Professor Jonathan Jansen is the Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Free State (since 2009) and a former Dean of Education at the University of Pretoria (2001-2007). He is a former high school Biology teacher who received his undergraduate education at UWC (BSc), his teaching credentials at UNISA (HED, BEd) and his postgraduate education in the USA (MS, Cornell; PhD, Stanford). He will be talking to us on the changes in education what is now needed to make our great country, fantastic.

Munich Re's, Chief Financial Officer, Hermann Polhchristoph will join us from Germany to share his knowledge on business management and his previous experience as a consultant and auditor of insurance companies at Ernst & Young.
