The Financial Services Board (FSB) would like to warn the public to act with caution when dealing with Von Axel (SA) Insurance Brokers CC (Von Axel), now trading as Migrative Trading (Pty) Ltd.

Von Axel was authorised on 13 April 2010 in terms of section 7 of the Financial and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS Act), to render advice and intermediary services in respect of long and short-term Insurance.

However, following an investigation into the affairs of Von Axel by the Registrar of Financial Services Providers, the license issued to Von Axel was withdrawn on 26 November 2010. The company has also been debarred from applying for a new license for a period of five years.

The investigation was conducted after information gathered by the FSB showed that the company currently operates in the Boksburg area. Ms Johester Van As is a sole member and representative of Von Axel.
