Agreement covers Central Europe, Middle East and Africa
Ovations, the Johannesburg-based business transformation company, has entered into a full partnership agreement with Adobe Systems Inc, one of the world’s biggest and most diversified software companies.
Covering Adobe’s Central Europe Middle East and Africa region (CEMEA), the agreement will see Ovations add value to Adobe’s Livecycle Enterprise Suite range of products and applications that blend data capture, information assurance, document output, process management and content services to help create and deliver rich solutions that reduce paperwork, accelerate decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.
“As a specialist in Business Process Management and Service Oriented Architecture, Ovations will focus on utilising Adobe’s comprehensive secure forms, rights management, process automation and output management offerings to create business solutions for a wide range of businesses in various industrial sectors,” says Emile Pepermans, Ovations’ Solution Centre Director.
“Forms handling is a big part of Business Process Management requiring various aspects of specialisation such as data capturing, presentation, automation, integration and adding of business value for specific users.”
Commenting on behalf of Adobe Systems, Mark Dorfling, the group’s Enterprise Channel Manager for Africa, said: “What appeals to Adobe is the way Ovations engage with their customers and focus on supplying a solution that meets a specific business need with the potential to scale throughout the organisation.
It is not about re-inventing the wheel, but taking what they have done in the past and customising it for a new environment, keeping the customer satisfied with faster implementation times and a more cost-effective solution.”
Pepermans sees big scope for Ovations and Adobe to provide solutions for the insurance and financial services industries where forms are an integral part of day-to-day business.
He stresses that security has become a major priority, necessitating the development of solutions that are as secure as possible to negate incidences of fraud or attempted fraud.
“We believe this will be a strong partnership as the strengths and expertise of Adobe and Ovations complement each other ideally, making for excellent implementation potential in many countries and industries,” says Pepermans.
