Meet the Market 2014 – Lloyd’s to simulate Underwriting Room at Insurance Conference Southern Africa

The annual Insurance Conference Southern Africa will be held from 27 July 2014 to 30 July 2014 at Sun City. Lloyd’s is delighted to be hosting the “Meet the Market” event to coincide with the Conference, offering delegates a chance to ‘Meet the Lloyd’s Market’.
We will be re-creating the famous Lloyd’s underwriting room in the Hall of Treasures for the duration of the conference, with approximately 30 representatives from the Lloyd’s market (including the well-known players such as Chaucer, Hiscox, Catlin, Novae) making up the box-holders. These representatives will be from a number of different syndicates, covering a wide range of classes of business including niche products such as Kidnap & Ransom, Terrorism and Political Riot.
The Meet the Market event facilitates interaction between insurance practitioners from the region and the Lloyd's market, to strengthen and develop business relationships and explore future opportunities. It also provides a platform for the Lloyd’s market to gain first-hand knowledge of local market conditions and gauge interest levels in the various classes of business.

How do you attend:
You can attend the conference as a full delegate, day visitor (access to presentations, exhibition, teas and lunch) or networker (access to exhibition and social functions). All fees and the registration process is available on www.iisa.co.za.
