IBILITI UNDERWRITING MANAGERS CELEBRATE 10 YEARS IN THE SHORT-TERM INSURANCE INDUSTRY

Ibiliti Underwriting Managers are celebrating their 10th birthday this month. MFRF part of Old Mutual Insure, Ibiliti has been serving the short-term insurance sector by catering for unique and diverse South African business for a decade.

Says Yolandé van Niekerk, founder and managing director, “A lot of behind-the-scenes grafting goes into guiding an organisation to profitability and sustainability. You must have all your strategic ducks in a row and be flexible and adaptable to the changes that happen in the world of business and insurance almost daily. But I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. The past 10 years have been a wonderful and greatly rewarding journey on so many levels.”

To celebrate their anniversary, Ibiliti named a star in the South African sky after their business.

“We were brainstorming in the office and the idea of naming a star after our business lit up our imagination. We found this symbolic of how insurance guards the assets of the people and companies. Our (creative) team managed to find a register of stars in South Africa. We took matters into our own hands and found a way to literally write our name in the stars on our 10th birthday,” says Van Niekerk.

The birthday celebrations will be visible on Ibiliti’s social media channels.

Ibiliti wants to thank everyone who inspired them to turn 10 and to know that your name is written in the stars next to them.
