Renasa has an unrestricted short-term insurance license and under this license, writes a wide range of business classes. Renasa has been rated A- by Global Credit Rating Co. ("Global") and distributes its product through three channels:

  1. Intermediaries who distribute and administrate domestic and commercial lines under binder arrangements;
  2. Intermediaries who distribute domestic and commercial lines administrated by Renasa; and
  3. UMA's which underwrite specialised single class business.

These currently include:

  • Engineering
  • HCV
  • 4 x 4
  • Minibus Taxis
  • Pet Insurance
  • Goods in Transit
  • First Review Products
  • Performance Guarantees
  • Agreed Value Motor
  • Medical Gap Cover

A foundation of our philosophy at Renasa is to reward responsible risk management with economic insurance.

This, together with innovative products and access to key management, provides benefits to our policyholders which distinguishes us in the market.

It results in a swift decision-making process and agility and flexibility that translates into action in far less time than the corporate environment normally permits.

The level of professionalism of our executive team and their commitment to delivering to our policy-holders an excellent product, value and service, is a further differentiating factor.

Finally, we value our business associations, none more than the association we enjoy with our insured clients.
